Scott is the Business Banking Management Director responsible for the Western Michigan, Northern Michigan and Wisconsin regions where he leads a team of 43 colleagues to provide banking services to customers with revenues under $20 million.
He joined Huntington in 2005, serving as Business Banking Team Leader and East Michigan Business Banking Market Manager and Business Banking Director since that time.
Under his leadership, the Michigan Business Banking teams have expanded, nearly doubling in size, and has led the company’s Business Banking group in top-line performance.
Scott is currently leading the micro-lending initiative in the state of Michigan for Huntington, and is working with a consortium of banks, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations to find a solution to the Detroit mortgage issues.
Prior to joining Huntington, Scott served as Regional Group Executive, Business Banking Team Leader, Commercial Lender and Credit Manager at the former National City Bank, now PNC.
Scott is the past President of the Metro Detroit Board of the Salvation Army, where he served in many capacities, including The Salvation Army Advisory Board, Executive Committee, Board Cultivating Committee, Nominating Committee and as Chair of the Development Committee. In 2010, he was honored as a Distinguished Volunteer by the organization. He also serves as a Board Member for both CareHouse and Advancing Macomb.
Scott has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Michigan State University.
