Who We Are
Advancing Macomb provides the leadership and resources needed to solve community challenges. By mobilizing our collective assets, we act as a conduit between opportunity and need. We strive to enrich the lives for residents and create a thriving environment in which to live, learn, work, recreate and innovate.
What We Stand For
We strive to become a pillar of integrity, reliability and fairness both through internal operations and external support.
We believe that disparities in our communities can be resolved by prioritizing support to organizations that face barriers to success, empower diverse community leaders and create an inclusive environment.
We reflect our collective assets of business and leadership skills to the advancement of our communities.
We actively work to break down silos and find innovative solutions to leverage organizational strengths and overcome weaknesses.
Where We're Located
With more than 870,000 residents, Macomb County is the third most populous county in Michigan. The county has a strong connection to the outdoors being home to more than 130 parks covering 12,000 acres. The four major public parks — Freedom Hill County Park, Macomb Orchard Trail, Lake St. Clair Metropark and Stony Creek Metropark each celebrate unique natural assets of our local communities.
Heralded for its natural resources, Macomb County is home to proud residents known for their strong work ethic, a business-friendly environment, excellent schools from Pre-K through Community College, a talented workforce and affordable housing.
