Spring is a time of growth and new beginnings. The first baseball games of the season are being played, lawnmowers are starting up, parks and recreation programming is at its peak and we finally see our neighbors again! The excitement for this new awakening transcends in our communities. The change of season brings excitement and anticipation.
Advancing Macomb recently experienced a change that likewise brings anticipation for what lies ahead. A little over a month ago, I assumed the role of Executive Director after the departure of the organization’s founding ED, Melissa Roy. In partnership with our dedicated board and volunteers, I am honored to continue the vision set forth almost six years ago.
My goal is to continue to leverage the dynamic group of individuals that lead our organization to tackle challenges, support impactful projects, and excite philanthropic initiatives in Macomb County. Please reach out to connect or discuss how we can support projects and initiatives to strengthen our community. Our strongest asset is the collective of people that live, work, and play in the county – only by working together collaboratively, will our potential be fully realized.
Warm wishes,
Diane Banks
