The Advancing Macomb Nonprofit Accelerator supports and strengthens nonprofits across the county through an intensive four-month cohort learning experience.
Following the success of our inaugural Nonprofit Accelerator, Advancing Macomb is pleased to launch its second cohort in Fall 2025, continuing our commitment to strengthening nonprofits that serve Macomb County residents.
This four-month program equips nonprofit leaders with the skills, tools and connections needed to deepen their impact. Through a hands-on curriculum led by expert partners, participants will gain practical knowledge, build valuable relationships and access resources to help their organizations grow and thrive.
From financial planning and board development to public relations and advocacy, the Accelerator blends virtual and in-person learning to address the real-world needs of nonprofit leaders.
Upon successful completion of the program, each participant will be paired with an experienced nonprofit mentor to support the next phase of their journey and to help put their new knowledge into practice.
Provide a cohort-based learning experience for up to 10 Macomb County nonprofits, combining in-person and virtual sessions (4 to 6 meetings per month) from September 30 through December 12, 2025.
Offer opportunities to collaborate with fellow nonprofit leaders and capacity-building organizations.
Deliver teaching and coaching from regional experts and Accelerator partners.
Gather real-time feedback from participants to help Advancing Macomb tailor the program experience and respond to emerging needs.
