The 2024 Community Engagement Summit will give participants actionable tools for community engagement to help mobilize citizens in projects to enhance their communities.

Featuring keynote speaker Jeanette Pierce, founder and president of the City Institute. Pierce established the City Institute to help cities attract and retain residents by fostering understanding and appreciation for their local environments. She assists cities in effectively sharing their stories so that current residents and newcomers feel a stronger sense of connection to and investment in their community.

Community Engagement Summit Goals:

  • Convene a broad variety of stakeholders to learn about current ideas and thoughts around community engagement.
  • Provide actionable strategies and useful tools for attendees to take back to their communities and put into practice.
  • Share learning around how community engagement is important for achieving success in community development and high quality of life and helps lead to greater economic development and other opportunities.
