Advancing Macomb invites Macomb County residents and anyone curious about public art to join us in downtown Mount Clemens on Friday, July 31, for an art-filled happy hour featuring public art, refreshments, and live music. Join us for any part of the adventure!

We’ll meet at Gumbo’s in the Mount Clemens Social District before exploring the Detroit Institute of Arts’ Inside|Out installations and other public artworks throughout downtown.

Advancing Macomb will have cold water on hand if you need it, along with plenty of fun facts, local stories, and behind-the-scenes anecdotes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout downtown Mount Clemens.

After the stroll, feel free to stay and enjoy the lively atmosphere, support local businesses, and grab more food and drinks. You can also enjoy the Free Friday Concert Series featuring Sound Project hosted by the Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority. The concert will go from 7:30-9:30pm at the stage located at at Cherry Street Mall and Macomb Place. Come for the art, stay for the music, and experience downtown Mount Clemens from a fresh, creative perspective.
