Join us to learn the basics of grantwriting for nonprofits:

– What a grant is, where they come from, and who is typically eligible.

– How to begin finding grant opportunities.

– How to write a grant proposal, and what components are typically included.

– What to expect if you do receive a grant award.

This workshop is intended to provide a basic overview and introduction to grantseeking and grantwriting. Participants will gain a better understanding of what grants are and how to apply for them, as well as what to expect in terms of grant management and reporting.

Instructor: Kathy Dickens is the director of Four County Community Foundation. She came to that role after retiring as a school administrator. With over $50 million in awarded grants, she knows her away around a grant RFP and loves to share her knowledge with others.

Workshop will be held at Romeo Middle School, 11091 W. 32 Mile Road, Romeo, MI 48065 on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 6:00pm – 8:30pm. Space is limited. Registration is required. Cost: $10 per person.
