Nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for the Workplace Safety Reimbursement Grants to recover expenses related to technology and workplace safety in the latest round of CARES Act grants. The Macomb County CARES for Small Business Program will make up to $10 million available to help local small businesses be reimbursed for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and Technology. Businesses and organizations with 500 or less employees may submit PPE and technology receipts for reimbursement. Applications are accepted starting September 1, 2020 and the application portal will remain open until September 30 or until funds are exhausted.
