Did you know that Michigan recently increased the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), also known as the “Working Families Tax Credit,” from 6% of the federal credit to an impressive 30%?

In advance of EITC Awareness Day, we will hear from Brian Rakovitis, Director of Economic Inclusion for the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM). Brian will give us an overview to ensure that you and your clients are well-informed about the expanded Michigan EITC and know how to access it.  Additionally, we will learn more about CEDAM and how they support and advocate for thriving neighborhoods, economic opportunity, equitable development, and housing security.

There will also be time for discussion and networking.
