Advancing Macomb seeks a full time Program Manager to support programmatic work with nonprofit and other organizations across Macomb County. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will primarily be responsible for the operational success of various programming for Advancing Macomb Foundation, Inc., while supporting other needs of the organization. The Program Manager will primarily develop and manage assigned programmatic activities. This person will manage the day-to-day planning and implementation of all facets of their assigned programs. This person will also work with communications and social media staff for all related marketing materials. The Program Manager combines the dynamic roles of strategic planning and innovation, as well as operational planning and follow-through. They will be responsible for forging strong relationships across partners, colleagues and the community while executing on strategic goals. This position is full-time hybrid-remote, 40 hours per week.

Advancing Macomb seeks a part-time Administrative Manager to support business functions within the organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administrative Manager will be responsible for business processes and systems which support Advancing Macomb, Inc. & Advancing Macomb Foundation Inc.’s operations and programs. The Administrative Manager will ensure that all support activities are carried on efficiently to allow other operations to function properly. This position is part-time hourly, hybrid-remote, 20 hours per week. Position does require some flexibility to occasionally work more than 20 hours per week depending on the needs of the organization.

Advancing Macomb is proud to support Macomb County communities by helping to strengthen local non-profit organizations. Through its new Capacity Building Grant Program, Advancing Macomb has awarded $45,000 to 13 small and growing nonprofits making a meaningful difference. Launched this spring in partnership with Huntington Bank, the program supports nonprofits serving low- to moderate-income communities in Macomb County by providing one-time grants of up to $5,000. These funds help organizations improve operations, strengthen leadership and expand their reach – ensuring long-term sustainability and greater impact.
