The Cascade in the Shade crowdfunding campaign is moving in the right direction – it has crossed the halfway point. With the support of over 70 community donors, so far, we are on our way for Shadyside Park in Mount Clemens to gain an exciting year-round play space with an interactive water feature for summer play. Over $24,000 of the $40,000 goal has been raised. However, the campaign deadline of April 30 is fast approaching. The Adaptive Leadership Circle is helping local nonprofit leaders strengthen their skills to increase resiliency at their organizations. Advancing Macomb is partnering with EmcArts, a national service organization that works alongside individuals, organizations and communities as they tackle their most complex challenges to offer a six-month peer cohort that uses a collaborative approach to improve organizational resiliency in the face of COVID-19’s constant disruptive change.
